基材表面處理 - 清理基材表面的油脂以及灰塵，噴砂金屬表面，使其表面的粗糙度大于 15 微米，對于鋁表面，我們建議使用氧化鋁作為研磨劑，再次清洗噴砂表面殘留的粉塵。還 可以采用化學方法，如磷化，鈍化，電泳等。
攪拌 - 盡管 ThinkBond?4S 在儲存過程中不會沉淀，但推薦在使用前將其充分攪拌均勻；
稀釋和施工 - 建議采用無水甲醇或無水乙醇來稀釋；稀釋時，為避免造成相分離，邊攪拌 邊慢慢加入稀釋劑；ThinkBond? 4S 可以采用浸涂、刷涂或噴涂施工，根據現場需要稀釋比 例可控制在 1 : 0~10（原液:稀釋劑）；
干燥 - ThinkBond?4S 硫化前必須充分干燥，室溫條件下需要放置 20-30 分鐘。如要需要減 少干燥時間，我們建議在 65 度以下的烘道中加熱干燥 5-10 分鐘，干燥溫度不要高于 82 度， 以避免粘合劑發(fā)生預反應；
預固化 - 硫化前進行預固化有助于 ThinkBond?4S 與基材的粘接，一般地，預固化推薦為
150 度 X 10 分鐘；
推薦干膜厚度 - ThinkBond? 4S 的膜厚要求非常薄，一般地控制在 3-8 微米可以獲得良好的 粘接。
防護措施
ThinkBond? 4S 是無毒性，無重金屬的環(huán)保產品，但是長期吸入揮發(fā)的溶劑是對身體有害的。 我們建議使用時需要佩戴口罩，盡量保持通風的環(huán)境。皮膚長期直接接觸可能會引起過敏。 本品為工業(yè)品，吞食可能致命！??！如果誤食，不會引起嘔吐，但是必須就醫(yī)！

Description
ThinkBond? 4S is a clear one-coat heat reactive primer for bonding unvulcanized silicone rubber and fluoroelastomers to various metals, glass, plastics and textiles by vulcanization process.
ThinkBond? 4S also can promote the bonding between polymer elastomers with substrate which cannot be sandblasting treated, such as galvanized steel, chromeplated steel, stainless steel, ceramic and plastics etc.

Application
Surface Preparation - Thoroughly clean metal surfaces prior to ThinkBond? 4S application. Remove grease and dust from the metal surface, sandblast the metal surface to make its
surface roughness greater than 15 microns. For aluminum surface, we recommend using
alumina as an abrasive agent to clean the dust remaining on the sandblast surface again.
Chemical methods can also be used, such as phosphating, passivation, electrophoresis, etc.
Mixing - ThinkBond? 4S do not settle down during storage, but stir before use to guarantee homogeneous layer is recommended.
Dilution & Applying - Use anhydrous ethanol or anhydrous methanol as diluent. The diluent
should be added slowly in while agitation to avoid possible phase separation. Apply ThinkBond?
4S by dip, brush or spray methods, the dilution ratio can be controlled from 1 : 0 to 1 : 10 according to the application condition in field.
Dry - Wet film must be dried completely before vulcanization. This will take 20-30 minutes at room temperature. Drying time can be shortened by oven dry after application. The drying
temperature should not be higher than 82℃ to avoid pre-reaction of the adhesive.
Prebake - Prebake before vulcanization can improve the adhesion between substrate and
adhesive, prebake 10 mins @150C is recommended for ThinkBond? 4S coated parts.
Recommended film thickness - The film thickness is very thin and should be between 3 to 8 microns.
Protective Methods
ThinkBond? 4S is non-toxic, non-heavy metal environmentally friendly product, but long-term
inhalation of volatile solvents is harmful to the body. We recommend that you wear a mask and try to maintain a ventilated environment. Long-term direct skin contact may cause allergies.
The product can be fatal is swallowed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting but call a physician immediately.
Caution
ThinkBond? 4S should be used up ASAP after the original container was opened; all the
packages require keep clean, the diluted product should be kept closed to avoid evaporation or water absorption; the original container must be kept closed if the product didn’t used up.
Storage
The product should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat sources, direct sunlight and open flame.
Delivery Package
1L/can, 4L/Gallon, 25L/Pail are available for ThinkBond? 4S.
